It is campaign season in Somalia. Politicians are busy jostling for seats in the political arena but millions of people in Somalia are food insecure. Organisations such as the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) are sounding the alarm. According to the Food Security & Nutrition Analysis Unit, Over 1.1 million people in the horn of African nation face acute food crisis and nearly 3.9 million others need livelihood support.
