Cancer is the third leading cause of mortality in Kenya accounting for 7% of annual deaths. While there are different types of cancer, bone cancer is one of most fatal. No one understands this better than 23-year-old Abdiaziz Aden. He was diagnosed with bone cancer five years ago while undergoing treatment for a leg injury he sustained in a car accident. The leg has since been amputated.
